Well stated.

The Blessed Virgin Mary was already being venerated in the liturgy as early as 250AD, and the Church approved her being called "Theotokos", "Mother of God" in the 5th century.

Oldest Known Hymn to Mary

Interesting, considering that many of the same people who claim Marian veneration is a "Catholic invention" are the same ones saying the Catholic Church wasn't created until the 6th Century

Do you believe that this hymn is Inspired and infallible?

You do realize there were heresies creeping into the church well before then, right? I mean, read Paul's letters. Read Jude and you'll see they were STRONGLY countering some heretical teachings. So why do you believe this idea of "venerating" Mary is a good thing? The apostles didn't do it, or suggest that veneration of any dead saint, Mary or otherwise, was a good thing.

Acts 12:2 mentioned James being put to death with the sword. Did anyone pray to him?

Why do you believe that such blind biased believers in a wrathful War God actually knew which were heresies and which were not? How do you know that what was allowed in was NOT heresy while the truth was rejected???

Because God's Word says it. I look to God's Word, not some random spirit that is catfishing me.

As far as scripture is concerned, the Messiah never refers to Mary as His mother. There are only 3 times mentioned where the Messiah spoke to her. And He seemed to be a bit perturbed with her 2 of those times. The 3rd time He merely told her to look at her son.

Also, He only spoke 2 times with regard to what someone said about her and again His responses couldn't be considered very flattering.

And then aside from the Messiah, there is the fact that other than Galations 4:4 saying that the Messiah was born of a woman, none of the epistle writers ever mention her in any of their lettters including the one to the church at Rome and the two by Peter.
perhaps you should contemplate on Luke 2:34-35

To men like BF, that is what women are for and nothing else. No big deal. Bringing God to humanity is nothing special! I keep thinking you have revealed the worst of your character, BF, and then I am surprised. What amazes me is that you probably think God will somehow be pleased with what you have become.
