Wrong. Pittsburgh's population loss was due to what happened in the 1980's. Domestic migration is positive and the metro is gaining population now because the economy is doing well (unlike Florida). Also, for the 100th time, Pittsburgh IS NOT in the Midwest. Pennsylvania is in the Northeast no matter what you people who have never even visited this state or metro think.

^Outdated. This year the city grew. First time in decades. Attributable to a reasonable economy thruout the recession.

SF almost never gets snow or ice/frost, it never gets hurricanes, it's less humid than the northeast, it gets fewer heat waves, and it also gets less rain, fewer rainy/cloudy days and more sun than any city in the northeast. It also gets more fog than any city in the Northeast.

Tell me, which Northeast cities have a Mediterranean climate, like SF does?

In terms of the entire area

1. Anchorage - cold
2. Minneapolis - cold
3. New York
4. Miami
5. Los Angeles

Minneapolis is NOT the most livable city in the country when you take weather into account, despite its high rankings in lists. LA and Miami feel like Third World cities to me, particularly large swaths of Los Angeles. Many people there do not speak English and communicating can be difficult honestly.

I don't know why people hate on Texas cities, I love Dallas and Fort Worth, though Amarillo and Abilene are a little isolated. If I had to live in a city I would prefer a more spread out, suburban city like Las Vegas, Charlotte or Phoenix or DFW. And Las Vegas is actually not crazy once you leave the Strip and there are other industires like the military and defense and high tech stuff not just tourism. I would not live in California anywhere because of the earthquakes.

No particular Order

Atlanta: I was extremely disappointed and underwhelmed, I'm just going to say it, it's boring! There is nothing special or unique about it!
Houston: See Atlanta
Charlotte: See Houston
Jacksonvillee: My boyfriend lives here, I refuse to visit him...see Charlotte
Columbus: Couldn't wait to graduate and get the hell away from this place. Take away OSU and Columbus has nothing!
Toledo,OH: Or as I call it...Hell! Born and raised here, finally I'm free!!!
