A few I would disagree with... Architecture and Safety. MC has architecture ranging from 16th-21st centuries. Neither of the other two come close to that kind of range. For safety, MC is not worse than Chicago.

Architecture I would definately give it to Mexico City by a wide margin over the other two.

Mexico City might have some real nice iconic buildings, but a lot of the neighbourhoods seem underdeveloped and just look like someone threw painted blocks around, stacked them on top of each other, etc. I would say that Mexico City's nicest buildings have elite architecture compared to Chicago's nicest buildings. But Chicago and Toronto on a whole seem to have more charm and "completed".

Also, I believe MC is worse than Chicagoland (at a metro level). It's always good to base this off the metro area. Chicago has a lot of nice surrounding areas while MC has a good amount of suburban slums. The murder rate for Greater MC might be higher than Chicagoland. Also, MC has a problem with carjackings, kidnapping, etc. That stuff won't be recorded in stats, so it'll be more difficult to compare.

Toronto has large parks but not in the DT core.. the biggest and most notable one's are outside of the core (not too far from it) such as High Park and David Balfour. Toronto as a whole is surprisingly green and dotted with plenty of parks but in the DT core - not so much due to development and urban densification. Toronto's most distinguishing feature geographically is actually its ravine system that is extraordinarily prominent

There are some beaches but not as large or nice as Chicago's - though neither city is really a 'beach' city imo..

Kite sailing is better than beach volleyball on a nice warm summer day/evening in the great lakes.

Honestly, it's pretty windy when you're deep into the lake and I know in Chicago's marinas that all kinds of boating, jet skiing, water activities are prevalent. Just something I'm putting high up on my list of things to do first in both Chicago and Toronto. I just love how you get out of the water, and the downtown is right there, easily walkable. Miami's also got this sort of thing going on the barrier islands/Miami Beach between the Atlantic Ocean and Biscayne Bay.
