Cali Son, cali3448893, CaliSan, CaliSen, CaliSon2, CaliSun,

Hahahahahahaha.

Something else worth noticing. Californians are voting MC. Northerners are voting Chicago. (Northeast, Midwest).

Id say that kind of relationship sums up every poll on this website.

For the most part, theres a lot that goes into choosing where you want to live, and people tend to say close to those specific parameters. I dont think youd find many NYers voting for LA on here in a poll, or vice versa. You tend to stick with what you like.

Basically, this site is all just people bragging about where they live. Nothing more. Nobody is changing minds on here.

Toronto is no match for those cities. Mexico city is the best. Chicago is also another world class city.

I read somwhere that only 1 out of 10 people report crimes to the police. Hell, the cartels have sent cops to do hits dressed in uniform(lol).

If you compare the whole region of Mexico City (19 million) to Chicago proper it MAY be safer statistically. I'm 100% sure than you can find a large part of that region that's more dangerous than the city proper of Chicago. Come on, you have to be smarter than that.
Mexico City proper has a lower murder rate (9 per 100k) than Chicago. Metro area, Chicago might come out ahead. May be easier to avoid crime in Chicago in the right neighborhoods though.

Out of curiosity, I've asked a few Mexicans how they feel. Not one of them felt that Mexico City was safer than Chicago, no matter what neighborhood that they live in.

Perhaps murder rate is a poor gauge of overall safety, or the Mexicans came from neighborhoods of below average safety

Good grief. The least he could've done was be more creative with the usernames

Comparing Mexican states with equivalent countries: Murderous matches | The Economist

Murder rate city proper (Mexico City): 8.8 per 100k
Murder rate surrounding suburbs/region (State of Mexico): 9.3 per 100k

Murder rate city of Chicago: 18 per 100k by the end of this year?

Metro-wide might average 6-7
