Just saying it's funny to hear people arguing about who's got more of a hockey culture or players between Minnesota or Michigan when a Canadian province like Saskatchewan usually produces over two times more NHL players than either despite having a population about the same size as Rhode Island.
And for the record, Minnesota probably wins in terms of the most devotion to hockey at all levels in the US--though at the same time, it in itself is a step behind pretty much anywhere in Canada outside the Atlantic provinces.
Well of course. But if you are going to bring Canada into the mix then you have to bring in Russia, Finland, and Sweden.
Detroit is a Lions town first and foremost. Even now with the Tigers, the Red Wings are third fiddle. Pistons blow.

If any of the teams here trotted out in those elf unis, THAT would start a riot. We don't play that crap in Michigan. Best sports with the best and most classy uniforms....not to mention best fans..........anywhere. It's all here.
