Further, several Southern states actually have a net loss TO Ohio in terms of domestic migration. How do you explain that?
After Illinois, Ohio has the largest population in the midwest. I think third would be Michigan.

So let's compare the three largest southern states (Texas, Florida, Georgia) to the three largest midwestern states (Illinois, Ohio, Michigan) and see which ones are more populated?

Why did you ignore all the other Southern states? If your claim is that people prefer warmer weather and will move for it, why aren't all Southern states as crowded as the 3 you mentioned? I'm not claiming people prefer warm or cold weather, because as I've stated, there is no real evidence that weather plays a large role in migration at all. But you seem to believe that it does. Why doesn't a state like Alabama or Mississippi have similar population to Florida, Georgia or Texas if people prefer warmth and will move specifically for it in large numbers?

People who rent are poor. I buy, including a house in Miami Beach, a condo in Sunny Isles. If I wanted to I could pay you to dance naked in a street, if I so wanted to
So you have nothing.... got it. Homes, which is what we are talking about, cost more on average, here. By the way, when people brag about money, like you, they generally have none.

Have a nice day sir

What am I to ignore? Virginia and North Carolina also have high populations. Numerous other Southern states are exploding in population (read South Carolina). States like Mississippi and Alabama are growing as well despite incredibly lowsy standard of living. There is currently in this country a huge population shift from the east coast and midwest to the west and south.

If you're making that much money, why do you spend all your life on CityData trying to justify that Miami makes you happy?

What a loser

It's a luxury you have when you have money and you no longer have to work hard. You'd be wonderfully surprised what you'd have time for when you don't have to wake up at 8am, go to work in a office and come back at 6pm only to drive in traffic. Oh yeah, and no boss either. I'm my own boss. Call me a loser, but if you have a boss and do to 9-5, you're the loser
