The Pacific Northwest is my favorite region of the country.

Denver, CO or Salt Lake City, UT?

I know there's one in Kansas (spelled without the final h), but haven't heard about this other Pittsburgh.

I'm going to assume this was a typo and go with the original Pittsburgh, the one in Pennsylvania. Beautifully situated, interesting neighborhoods, nice downtown, lots of character.

Jersey Shore, Pa., or Missouri City, Texas?
Definitely a typo

Provincetown, would prefer the Cape, ferry to Boston, and P-Town is fun!

Portsmouth, NH or Portland, ME?

Portland.

Both are charming seaport cities, and they're about an hour apart on I-95. But Portland's a little larger, with more things to do, and Maine's rocky seacoast has it all over New Hampshire's 14-mile one for scenic beauty, even if New Hampshire has better beaches.

Wilmington, Del., or Wilmington, N.C.?

Wilmington, NC. Great area. Good history, lots of water recreation, Ft. Fisher is one of my favorite beaches in the country. I have an Aunt and Uncle in Carolina Beach. Not the easiest place to get around, but love it just the same.

Austin, TX or Portland, OR?

Portland. Austin's climate is intolerably hot and humid from late May til almost October, and the Hill Country, while amazeballs by Texas standards, is really nothing special compared to the scenery of the PNW.

Brush, CO, or Concordia, KS?
