Springfield, MO. Pretty Ozark region and is growing.
Dayton, OH or Syracuse, NY?
Dayton... slightly larger metro/forms a 3 mil CSA with Cincinnati... better year-round weather... Syracuse is in a better location for outdoor recreation but Dayton has better cities to visit within a few hour drive.

New Orleans, LA or Virginia Beach, VA?
Virginia Beach. Larger region, close to Richmond. No brainer.
Detroit, because its on the upswing.. major international Airport and its got a lot of history. Cleveland is great too.. both are significantly underrated.

Savannah GA or Charleston SC?
From what I know of the two, they are pretty similar. I will go with Savannah as I'd much rather live in Georgia.

They're damned near interchangeable with each other, so either one would please me as a place to live, but I had relatives who lived in Savannah when I was young, so there's a sentimental attachment there. Besides, I couldn't imagine Charleston producing a character like The Lady Chablis.
So Savannah it is.
LA's Wilshire Boulevard corridor or New York's Upper East Side?

Wilshire, the closer to Santa Monica, the better.
San Fernando Valley, CA or Silicon Valley, CA?
