Minneapolis over Winnipeg. The Canadian city I’m most curious about other than the big three is Calgary. Tbh I have given much thought to Winnipeg but I like MSP enough to not feel like the grass must be greener above the border.

Huntsville AL or Birmingham AL?
Huntsville would have some great job opportunities, but I'm quite partial to Birmingham and will have to go with it.

Mobile, AL or Jacksonville, FL?

Lynchburg, VA vs New York City, NY
Honestly, NYC. It has plenty of issues but I love the city and something about Lynchburg doesn't really draw me in. I would love proximity to water as well.

Repeating my previous one - Mobile, AL or Jacksonville, FL?

Virginia Beach. I barely know anything about it but by god it must be better than that hellscape that is AC.

Santa Fe, NM or Portland, OR

Portland. I am intrigued by Santa Fe, no question, but for long term living there's no chance I'd pick it over Portland, which actually hits on most preferences for me and my family.

Weird, but I have another NM v OR matchup lined up:

Las Cruces, NM vs Eugene, OR

Eugene... bigger, more job opportunities/amenities, more vibrant/prosperous, lots of outdoor activities.

Cedar Rapids, IA or Fort Wayne, IN?

Cedar Rapids for sure. I prefer Iowa over Indiana.

St. Petersburg, FL or Orlando, FL?

Both are too crowded for my tastes, but I'll take St Pete because it has more character and I like the Gulf side.

Pascagoula, MS or Jacksonville, IL?

Fort Collins. Cute little city about midway between Denver and Cheyenne, and the smallest city in the country with regular streetcar service (it's a heritage trolley line run by volunteers IIRC, but it does make intermediate stops and pick up riders on its run).

Fort Smith, Ark., or Fort Wayne, Ind.?
