Although Crescent City is in a beautiful setting, I'll pick Port Aransas. I love the Gulf Coast. It has a better climate (for me), and TX>CA.

Dayton, Nevada or Dayton, Tennessee?

Carmel... prefer the climate and the location in a more populous region.

Definitely Cedar City, since Canon City has that penitentiary!

Baton Rouge. Like the French culture. The Latin American western culture in El Paso is cool but the city is a tad one dimensional

Bloomington IN or Lawrence KS?

New York, New York. No brainer. Maine is too isolated for me. Long Island, Upstate NYC, Western Mass and Eastern PA offer just as much as Maine.

Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH?

Cleveland is on the lake and it's no mistake.

Lewes. It just seems more sensible for daily living, and has milder winters.

Huntsville, Texas or Amherst, Massachusetts?

Amherst, MA by far. A vibrant, artsy and culturally important college town with a well-educated population located in a gorgeous area of the country. I can already see myself hiking the Berkshires.

Harrisburg, PA or Albany, NY?
