I've actually been to both! Hmmm. Thief River is pretty and Digikey is keeping the economy strong, and I like that cold snowy weather. Kirksville has a very cool museum and is also pretty. Think I'm going to go with Thief River because I prefer a Lutheran dominated community to a baptist dominated community.

PS, I loved living in Oklahoma (per the conversations above)

Yuma, AZ or Farmington, NM?

Grand Junction because there’s more to do than San Angelo. Access to Colorado’s premier ski areas via driving without having to deal with a lot of snowfall at home. You’re also not that far from the amazing national parks in Utah.

Bozeman MT or Rapid City SD

Tucson -- it has mountains nearby to hike in, and is the most attractive of the three large desert cities:
not as crowded as Phoenix, nor as superficial as Vegas.

Asheville, NC or Eugene, OR?
