Asheville, NC or Eugene, OR?
Asheville. So beautiful and love it's artsyness. Is that a word, lol? Anyway, Severn, MD or Columbia, MD?

Columbia is a nicer area. I also like the homes better.

Round Rock, TX or Murfreesboro, TN?

I'm going with Murfreesboro purely because I have ancestors who lived there.

Kansas City MO or St. Louis MO?

Kansas City is best. I like the attractions and sense of community.

Spokane, WA or Lexington, KY?

Lexington. Spokane has a depressing, run-down feel (even in the suburbs), and it's not really close to anything else --- even getting to Seattle in the winter is always iffy. In Lexington at least I have access to a few major OH/IN/KY cities.

Edgewater, CO or Milwaukie, OR?

Edgewater. I like CO better than OR in every way.

Jacksonville, FL or Indianapolis, IN?

Two unloved darlings of CityData. While I'm not as down on Indianapolis as many on CD, I'd definately prefer to live in Jacksonville myself.

Berlin, Maryland. I prefer its coastal location, and its more rural setting.

Abilene, Texas or Montgomery, Alabama?

Although I generally prefer the SE to TX in this comparison I'd go with Abilene. You're starting to get into West TX with those open spaces and reduced humidity levels and you're still only located two hours west of Fort Worth. Now if you said I could live in Auburn/Opelika instead of Montgomery proper I'd likely reconsider.

Madison NJ or Cary NC?

Madison.

Crescent City, California or Port Aransas, Texas?
