Another 8/9 matchup:

Chapel Hill, NC or Madison, WI?
Chapel Hill. Better climate and location.

Dallas/Ft. Worth, TX metro or Houston, TX metro?

Houston. I prefer the coastal vibe. It's also got a bit more of a 'southern' flair to it than DFW.

Granite City, Illinois or Marblehead, Massachusetts?

Marblehead for sure. I don't see the appeal of living near East St. Louis at all.

Boston, MA or Dallas, TX?

Of those 2, Dallas. Since to me at this point in my life(and as I'm slowly getting older), I'd prefer warmer weather. And Dallas having a lower cost of living, would be another plus.

Alright, I'm going to keep that theme going a few did, and try another inspired NCAA tournament bracket matchup for this thread. Villanova, PA, or Rock Hill, SC(home of Winthrop University)?

Rock Hill. Metro Charlotte to me is more livable than Philly - and Rock Hill is a nice town in its own right with a great downtown.

Another March Madness matchup involving my alma mater (Florida State Univ.)

Tallahassee, Florida or Greensboro, North Carolina?

Tallahassee. Better climate in my opinion. I love the Florida panhandle. It's so laid back and scenic.

Boston, MA or Cape Coral, FL?

Boston. A major city with four seasons and a lot to do.

Rochester NY or Grand Rapids MI?

Grand Rapids. It's growing and doing better than Rochester. Very livable.

Knoxville, TN or Colorado Springs, CO?

Colorado Springs. Markedly better summertime climate (humidity is almost nonexistent). Palmer Park, Pulpit Rock, and Garden of the Gods in the city limits. Pikes Peak towers over the city. Rockies > Smokies for me. Close to Denver.

Green River, WY, or Yakima, WA?
