Mt. Pleasant, SC or Metairie, LA?
Metairie, because it's next to New Orleans, which even post-Katrina is still more fun than Charleston.

Overland Park, Kan., or Bloomington, Minn.?

Overland Park... Both are nice larger suburbs in nice metros. Prefer OP for the more temperate climate.

Aurora, CO or Fort Worth, TX?

Where I currently live vs my previous metro. Aurora. I've lived here for 9 years now, and no amount of money could lure me back to Dallas-Fort Worth. I prefer the climate (May-September in DFW sucks), the scenery is infinitely more interesting, and there's considerably more to do outdoors. We don't have a downtown. If I need that fix Denver is right next door, and Downtown Denver > Downtown Fort Worth.

Fort Smith, AR, or Watkins Glen, NY?

Ft. Smith. Close to friends in Fayetteville. Klamath Falls OR or Moscow ID?

I'm actually thinking seriously about moving to Moscow, as it is near family but not too close. Housing prices are high IMHO. Klamath Falls is probably really pretty; haven't been there. So, I guess Moscow by a whisker.

Finland, MN or Sweden, ME

Finland, MN. Minnesota is a better location.

Charleston, SC or Richmond, VA?

Charleston. I like Richmond a lot, but Charleston offers a lot more overall (especially for its size). Stunningly beautiful coastal location and downtown. One of my favorite cities in the U.S.

Tampa/St. Petersburg, FL metro or Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN (WI) metro?

Tough call.
I'd prefer the Florida politics but can't stand the heat and Florida's not my thing at all anyway.

Since Wisconsin was mentioned as an option for the Twin Cities metro, I'd go with that. Hudson's a neat little place on the river.

Youngstown, Ohio or Lincoln, Nebraska?

Lincoln. Seems to be in better shape economy wise. Provincetown MA or Key West FL?

Provincetown, since I can't stand heat and humidity and I love theater.

Northampton, MA or Cambridge, MA?
