Mesa... I prefer SoCal but Mesa is the better city by a country mile in this match-up.

Marathon, FL or South Padre Island, TX?

Neither appeal to me at all, but I'll pick Garden City because it's further south.

A triple option, which one?
Golden, CO
St. Louis, MO
Milwaukee, WI

Coors, Budweiser or Miller?

Frankly, I'm a craft-brew type myself, and Boulevard in my hometown is one of the better craft brewers in the country. (And I also live in the part of the country where America's oldest brewery is located, which means the cheap beer everyone around here drinks (a) is considered a "craft beer" by industry standards (b) tastes like beer.)

But of those three, while I think Coors (the original Banquet beer) a little better than Budweiser, and that brewery also produces Blue Moon, I'd still prefer the home of Budwesier to the home of Coors. It's a real city with grit, character and a fighting spirit. Besides, the Bud brewed in St. Louis was always a little better than the Bud brewed at the other breweries, because Gussie Busch had to drink it himself. And if I want an A-B InBev craft beer, I can always order a Goose Island. (Wait, that's Chicago.)

(Note that I haven't mentioned Miller at all. 'Nuff said about that, though I would like to visit Milwaukee sometime.)

So let me put a different spin on this:

Pottsville, Pa., or Golden, Colo.?

Yuengling is way superior to Coors but I'm still choosing to live on the front range out in Golden CO.

Boulder CO or Asheville NC (home of the producers of two of the best American wheat beers)

Tough one for me! Asheville is Southern and more familiar and closer to all of my family. But I would likely choose Boulder (if I could afford it) for its proximity to the Rockies and Denver Metro.

Yuma, AZ or Laredo, TX?

Oakland. Both cities have their probelms, but Oakland has better growth & development. Plus I'd rather be in the Bay Area.

Dallas, TX or Miami, FL?
