Williamsburg, even after factoring in the historical theme park that is Colonial Williamsburg. The James River region stretching from Richmond to Hampton Roads is lovely country.

Overland Park, Kan., or Bellevue, Wash.?

Overland Park. Love the Kansas City area. More my speed in every way except the part about the cooler northwest summers.

Waterloo, Iowa or Waterville, Maine?

I'm going with Maine because I can get fresh seafood, the landscape is hilly, not flat. Sorry Iowa.

Bosie, Idaho or Starkville, MS

Boise. One of the best small metros in the U.S.

Millville... not crazy about either place but Millville is larger and closer to the Philly metro with its jobs/amenities.

Newport, VT or Rumford, ME

I'll bet both are beautiful. I'm picking Rumford, because it looks like it would be slightly less snowy than Newport.

Pepperell, MA or Salt Lick, KY?
