Lexington. There's some beautiful countryside there and they have more of a 4-season climate than Mobile.

Roanoke, VA or Altoona, PA?

Roanoke. Right in the heart of some amazingly beautiful country, and the winters are a bit milder than central PA.

Morgantown, West Virginia or Tuscaloosa, Alabama?

I'm picking Morgantown, because I don't think it would be as hot as Tuscaloosa.

Fort Smith, AR or Fort Scott, KS?

Ft. Smith. Larger and close to Fayetteville. Victoria TX or Alexandria LA?

This is a good matchup between two evenly matched small cities. The livability stats between them are about as dead even as I've seen between any pair of cities.

For me, it pretty much comes down to location, and Alexandria wins this. It's just more centrally located within the South and closer to everything that's more familiar to me.

Inkster, Michigan or College Park, Georgia?

Inkster. Not familiar with Inkster specifically but Detroit suburbs are generally pretty nice. Weather I can tolerate more easily too.

Bonanza, Oregon or Virginia City, Nevada?

Virginia City. I'd rather live in NV. Flagstaff AZ or Santa Fe NM?

Santa Fe was going to be my trip this year. I had whole Central/West/Southwest loop planned, with Santa Fe as the highlight. Well, after getting my vaccination, I'm going next year! And I definitely pick it now. Even though Flagstaff is really nice and I have good teenage memories of it.

Norman, OK or Sand Springs, OK?

Sand Springs for slightly cooler weather year round and because it's in the superior Tulsa metro area.

Denver, CO or Calgary AB?

Denver, for sure. Love visiting Canada, but would never want to live there.

San Diego, CA or Seattle, WA?
