Richmond, VA or Kansas City, MO?
Richmond, VA

Both cities are under-rated IMO. Richmond puts me near the DC area. Know one person there. Not far from the Atlantic Coast. Blue Ridge Mountains reasonably close, too. Ideal place to explore both the eastern & southern regions.

Ashland, OR or Branson, MO ?

Ashland, OR or Branson, MO ?
Branson MO, because it is in a beautiful area and like Missouri more than Oregon.

Carmel IN, or Wellington FL?

Wellington, because Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach is better than Indianapolis.

Bloomington, MN vs West Valley City, UT

Bloomington, MN

I grew up in the Twin Cities area and still know some people there. Have a few relatives nearby in WI. Familiar with the area from some visits. Like Bloomington and surrounding cities. Lots of trails, lakes, parks, rivers, good dining/shopping options, major firms, etc. Minneapolis is very close. Also am not a Mormon. Stopped skiing about 15 years ago.

Bakersfield, CA or Henderson, NV ?

Lawton, OK

Lawton is significantly larger than Durant. Probably has more city amenities.

Ann Arbor, MI or Bloomington, IN ?

Ann Arbor, because I really don't like Indiana. Also, it is a nice town.

Bayonne, NJ vs South San Francisco, CA

South San Francisco, CA

Weather is much better in South San Francisco. Like its location on the Bay. Both are near prestigious cities (NYC & SF), but I am much more familiar with San Francisco & the Bay Area. SFO airport very close, too. Prefer Pacific Coast over Atlantic coast. Know a lot of people in northern CA. Don't know anyone in NJ or NYC.

Sacramento, CA or Columbus, OH ?

Sacramento. I've lived places with actual winter - no thanks. Plus, proximity to the coast and the Sierra Nevadas.

Here are some stinkers:
Greeley, CO or Bakersfield, CA

LOL I guess Greely, CO only because I'd rather drive to Denver than LA.

Manchester, NH or Elko, NV?
