Chicago kinda looks like Manhattan sometimes, but it's significantly smaller. It's not really the same. Miami is gonna overtake Chicago with the most skyscrapers pretty soon. Chicago does look more like New York than most cities, especially with its elevated trains and just the architecture of the buildings.

That being said, Chicago is an interesting city and they have some cool museums and a nice lakefront park area, so you should enjoy it.

NYC is #2 for Global City it lost spot to London in 2016 there neck to neck against each other.

Chicago rank 7 for global power it neck and neck with Los Angeles.

D.C at 10, Boston at 24, San Francisco at 23, Toronto at 17

Sorry - but strongly disagree. Chicago's is much more vibrant (I think there are other cities too - with their centers much more vibrant than Boston's) and I'm not sure what you mean by urban integration, exactly, but if it means what it sounds like, Chicago I think is also a solid 2.
