Again, they're both great cities but Chicago is very small compared to NYC.
The reason I asked where you were going first...is years ago I went to see the Rolling Stones in concert and the next night I went to see ZZ Top.
The ZZ Top concert was extremely disappointing to me but I'm convinced to this day that I would've enjoyed it more had I not seen The Stones the night before... Hope this makes sense.
I'm hoping Chicago doesn't disappoint you going there immediately after spending time in NYC.

I've spoken to a few people who had never been to NYC or Chicago and were shocked at how "small" Chicago is compared to NYC... that's the point I was trying to make.

2. The boat tour in between the skyscrapers
