I'm sorry. I don't know how I goofed this up but I choose Grand Rapids. They look like they have similar density but GR buildings look taller. Now for the latest pairing I choose Minneapolis. I like the architecture more. I love both though.

Minneapolis vs Charlotte?
Going with Charlotte here, by a hair. Minneapolis has more density though and more buildings.

Charlotte's tallest is one of my favorite skyscrapers in the US--design wise.

Fort Worth vs Tampa?

Fort Worth vs Tampa?
While I don't find either particularly inspiring, Tampa wins this one for me. It's got more architectural variation and height. Plus it looks more aesthetic with the water. Fort Worth is more boxy in comparison.

Jacksonville or Norfolk?

Jacksonville because it has taller buildings. El Paso or Tucson?

Both are decent low skylines with cool desert mountain backdrops but I'd choose El Paso because it has more buildings.

Another challenge of two Mountain West cities without tall buildings but with mountains. Boise vs Colorado Springs?

I picked Boise because it looks more compact. Salt Lake City or Sacramento?

Sacramento. Salt Lake has a nice lil chunk of density but it's not enough against California's Capital, which is a larger skyline a nice chunk of density itself and upon looking closely has some nice interesting architecture tucked in there

Calgary or Vancouver

Calgary or Vancouver
Vancouver is a lot larger and denser. I also like Vancouver's scenery better. I think Vancouver could use more distinctive architecture. It could be Honolulu or Miami and I could not tell other than size.

Nashville or San Antonio?

San Antonio has some nice buildings but Nashville's sheer number of towers tips it in it's favor with many more on the way. Tulsa or Memphis?

I like Tulsa here, with this matchup. For its size, Tulsa has an incredible skyline, with several tall skyscrapers. Not a huge amount of high rises and skyscrapers overall, but it is very powerful in terms of its aesthetic and height.

Memphis has a decent skyline, but needs 2 or 3 new towers between 300-400 feet.

Tulsa or Omaha?
