Yeah its Black (NH) and White (NH) populations have been dropping in recent years. I believe as late as 2000 Boston was 60% White.
Im genuinely surprised Boston isnt at least 15% Asian (NH) yet.
A lot of Asians already moved to the suburbs. There are a ton of towns with 10-20% Asian population in greater boston, maybe this is why Boston city is not at 10% yet? Just more spread in the metro area?

Correct. The public schools keep Asians out of Boston. Malden Quincy Revere all have Asian populations, cheaper rents and much better shoots than Boston. If you want way better s Schools go to a suburb. If you want more urban and better schools go to Cambridge. If you want way way cheaper and better schools go to Randolph or Lowell

This is absolutely the case. Even Cambridge, Newton, and Brookline are ~15% Asian. Then of course you have the juggernauts: Quincy, Lexington, and Malden none of which are very far from the city center.
Yeah Lexington is about ~25% Asian I believe. The schools are about 40% asian.. and this is a very affluent suburb of Boston.
Quincy of 100k people is surely approaching the 30% asian mark
Lexington is ~ 30% Asian and the schools are 44% Asian. Quincy was 29% Asian in 2016 so it’s probably over 30% now. Don’t forget Lowell either 112 k people, 20% Asian. Although most people familiar say it’s much higher than what’s reported due to refugees/illegal immigration etc (I tend to agree)

44% Asian? Wow. Lexington Schools were just 25% Asian in 2008 judging by schooldigger. Awesome.
And yeah, Lowell is a great point. Tons of Cambodians, and not sure if all are registered.

35% of people living in Miami have Cuban ancestry, 17% Central American. That's half the entire population, it's huge. Asians are less than 1% combined (including west Asians).

I already made my point. 1/3 of the population is of Cuban decent and another 17% is Central American, which is a culturally relatively homogeneous group (yes there is difference between someone from Honduras and someone from Guatemala but there is less difference than between someone from South Korea and someone from China).

And the remaining 1/2, or close to it, is South American (an entire continent that is hardly homogeneous), European, Caribbean (most speak Spanish, some speak French, some speak Dutch), Turk and Russian (for those who do not include Russia in Europe though its 2 largest cities are), Non Hispanic Whites, and Canada.
I took a look at the link you provided earlier and I think it might be from 2016, as the City of Miami’s population (and city limits only as noted in your link —not the larger Miami Dade County or even much larger MSA) is (1) closer now to 470,000 and (2) there has been a decrease in Central America as a percent of the population relative to South America (especially Colombia, Brazil and Venezuela) in the past few years (not dramatic, but I believe a 3-4% swing)...I’m trying to find some more current data, but even without it there still is diversity within Miami, even if Asian influence is extremely limited.
