My point is simple, a smaller city like Pueblo can be more important to a region then their larger neighbor, Colorado Springs, if all the other factors that make a city important go in the smaller cities favor as it does for Pueblo.....

Whos talking about Importance? Is Bmore less important than DC? Yes. Is it still larger? Yes! therefore it would be Baltimore-Washington (which also rolls off the tounge much easier than Washington-Baltimore!), likewise Colorado Springs - pueblo, in a thread named "Major cities with smaller sibling. If it was named Important city with less important sibling, then it would be Washington-Baltimore, or (i guess from what you're telling me) Pueblo - CS

Again Pueblo is more of a "major" city then the Springs. If the thread would of been called the largest city and their sibling then I would of put Colorado Springs first.

I don't take it that way. Just look at Las Vegas versus Boston and Baltimore. I am sure someday Las Vegas will be larger then they are but I think that Boston and Baltimore will always be more important then Las Vegas thus they will each be considered a more "major" city for the country then Las Vegas.

Me either but a lot of people in Milwaukee like to claim Chicago as their larger sister city. And I think they're like only 90 mins apart, I really don't know why I added Madison & South Bend though.

Let me revise this..

Chicago, Milwaukee, Gary. That's better.

Grand Rapids, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek

Detroit-Ann Arbor

Memphis, West Memphis
