I'm from the Bay Area, not inland, dry-hillside southern california. Plus no humidity.

The palm trees never dry up and die out, now those winter storms completely KILL those plants up north. Palm trees are a stronger plant.

It does look intrsting, but at the same time it looks waaaay more boring to me then having the same hot weather in LA.

Personally, for end of December scenery, I enjoy these colors and a mild 65 degree day with no humidity and a nice ocean breeze. Although I should add, this isn't Los Angeles, it is the Big Sur Coastline, Central California. But yeah, compared to this, I think 4 seasons are overrated. I mean 4 seasons can be nice, but there is a limit.
