There's no way Chicago or Los Angeles is richer than Paris or London.

Chicago GDP: $440B

Paris GDP: $731.3B

London GDP: $669B

All 3 metros are about the same size.

Los Angeles' GMP: $698B in a 17,755,000 metro.

In all honesty, I'm not sure what difference there is between a GDP and GMP so pick that apart as much as you want.

I'm pretty sure London overall is considered to be the richest city on the planet.

Yes, these are MSA, my stat is CSA. Combined Statistical Area. Both come from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.

CSA is what combines DC and Baltimore, SF and San Jose etc. In that CSA Ranking, DC actually tops Chicago and The Bay Area is only 15 Billion dollars behind Chicago, A CSA with over 2 Million more people.

Hella, oaklandish, hyphy, grimey, and bruh, are terms that come from the bay. Foshizzle is straight long beach buddy, were you even a teen ager in the 90's?
If you want to know about 2Pac's connection with the Bay, rent/check out the DVD "Thug Angel." It's the best Pac DVD I've seen, and I've owned it since it was brand new. He makes it clear how integral Oakland was in who he became as a man, and his whole career as a rapper had its roots in Marin City and Oakland. Aside from that, he always repped California as a whole more than he repped anywhere else. He never sold out on the Bay, he just grew to love and become a part of LA towards his demise.

As for "foshizzle," I always knew that to originate from E-40, but to be popularized by Snoop. I was a teenager in the 90s, just fyi.

What does personal income have to do with influence? GDP measures economic output.

Actually the only dense I see is Chicago boosters who cant stand whenever any other city is named second to NY.

Ever.

As far as Latin America, Wikipedia says:

Quote:
São Paulo remains the business hub of Latin America.

You still haven't provided any links that prove I'm wrong.
But Ive definitely proven that despite being much larger, Chicago's aggregate income and total GDP is actually in the same range as DC and the Bay Area.
