I would like to thank the MODERATOR who changed "loose" to "lose".....Too many whippersnappers that love to POINT out trivial things...If I wasted my time proof reading every post and replying about EVERY grammatical error, well .........THANX MODERATORS! PS I am referring to the thread title....before someone points that out too......LOL.....
I liked Goldwater's suggestion; sawing off the entire northeastern seaboard. They're not really American states any longer, after all, but socialist, bureaucratic ones where individual rights are severely violated.

That's more than 2 states....sorry....your vote has been nullified.
Pick any two states in the South, it doesn't matter:
Alabama and Mississippi (my first pick)
Kentucky and Arkansas
South Carolina and Tennessee
Texas and Florida
.
.
.
West Virginia and Georgia

.
you get the idea
What's the point of this? There are definitely states and areas that I don't like - I'm not fond of the Deep South or the Northeast, for example - but I don't think the US should lose any states. A lot of people died the last time a group of malcontents took the idea of secession seriously...
California and Texas, because they use to much energy, and since they are the most populated states USA would save a lot more money. Yes I know... you could think that it was a five year old that typed this, but I couldn't think of any better reasons of taking away two states
