New Orleans is the tops- the best tasting oysters you ever want to put in your mouth. I will give Boston, San Francisco and even Houston over LA

OK, but it's named after the Dungeness Spit in Washington.

I don't know about which city has the best seafood, but I think its hard to beat California. Dungeness crab is just as good, if not better than East Coast Blue crabs, and are more meaty and easier to cook. Not to mention all the fresh claims and mussels you can find. Also, lets take a look at the large Asian and Latin population. Fish tacos are better in California(especially in San Diego) than any place in the country. And Asian seafood in San Francisco will be hard for any city to match. Sorry Boston, but claim chowder can only take you so far. And not being biased, but claim chowder in SF is every bit as good as in Boston.

New England Coast. Yeah, not a city, but fried whole belly clams are my favorite seafood of all time. Plus you got whole lobster, lobster rolls, chowder (new england, rhode island styles), stuffed quahogs, decent oyster selected, broiled fish, fish and chips.
