I really don't see how making jokes about the Gulf oil spill is funny

I'm going by actual experiences.
I would add to Boston fish and chips and oysters. There are tons of oyster bars in the city and every restuarant offers f&c.

Fresh Gulf shrimp & oysters are the best!

As far as crab you can't beat Alaskan crab.

Gotta love Maine lobster, Cape Cod Oysters and Scallops, Gulf Shrimp, Maryland Crab, Alaskan Halibut or Salmon, or Conch fritters in Key West. But the best seafood dining experiences I've had have been at Portuguese/Azorean restaurants. I've found them in Gloucester and New Bedford, MA and Providence, RI. The flavor and variety in which they prepare it is amazing. Best to go with tapas where you can try a variety of prepared seafood samplings.

Best seafood I've ever had was in the Florida Keys. There are a lot of great seafood resturants here in the Tampa Bay area too.
You would be wrong - the Bay Area and Central Coast have some of the best seafood in the country, hands down.
