Yes and another great stop is down the street at La Cucina Italian bistro in Sunset Beach behind the Food Lion. With all the great restaurants in the area from Sunset Beach and Little River to Southport and Oak Island, not to mention the superb restaurants inside St James.... I've been trying to lose the same ten lbs for the past year..... difficult to do in light of all the great eateries in the vicinity. Speaking of which, we had another lovely dinner with two other couples at the Reserve Club Thanksgiving Day Buffet yesterday..... just lovely and packed to the gills from 12 noon til after 7 PM.

Hi IsleBBack.

Welcome to the neighborhood. Or lot is also on Moss Hammock, down by Seaside. What part of MHW are you located on?

Regards,

Pony

When are you planning to start building? We are going to start building in early 2013.

Our plan right now is to move in sometime during the spring of 2014. Can anyone who has built in SJP recommend how long the entire building process generally takes...or would be expected to take a year from now? And thanks to Pony Pride and Stonecreek for their builder recommendations----would love to hear which builders anyone else would recommend for us.

The actual "building" process for a 3000 sq ft home down here is "approx" 6 months +-...... choosing the builder and the right plan OR a custom plan from an architect and then obtaining the permit will take whatever time it takes.... perhaps up to a few months.

I concur with Stoney. I was told the process from the time ground is broken for the foundation is 6 months. I look forward to having new neighbors on MHW.
