One day we were walking our (small) dog in our neighborhood. We always carry bags with us, that are visible. He stopped to go #2 on the green part on the other side of the sidewalk (yard - sidewalk - strip you still own - road) and this Hank Hill-ish guy comes out and goes, "Not on my lawn!" (In a red neck voice)
Goodness I thought he would attack us or something & we had bags to pick it up.

Anyways, this lady is just really gross and after reading this thread I'm really never looking at runners the same.

Has this woman (or other runners) heard of Immodium, or Pepto-Bismal? You can take it before you run and have the runs. I'm sure that there are Rx drugs that their doctors would prescribe if they asked... And there are always adult diapers. I dunno. The whole thing seems really sick and disgusting.

she has been doing this so many times at the same house?
Why hasn't someone followed her?
I've done that before and got the perps arrested...

I think not everyone has that vigilante spirit to go following criminals. The person who reported it has young kids and is probably more concerned about taking care of her kids than chasing a pooper or going out of her way to get a better photo than she already had. Many people will not want to take a change of an escalation by going out to get the best photo in plain view of the perpetrator. Also, from what I've read the person committing the offense is not targeting the person who reported it, but apparently a neighbor, and adjusted her times when she saw she was being noticed, etc. Also there is no evidence she has continued to do this once it was reported to police and got picked up by all the media.

Second the recommendation for Imodium. I'm prone to getting the "runs" since having multiple GI surgeries & radiation treatment for colorectal cancer years ago, and that's what my GI specialists have told me to take. One pill every morning takes care of it until late afternoon or evening. Oh, and DON'T EAT right before you go out.

It's not just "getting the runs". She passes several public bathrooms to crap in the same yard over and over again, and ignores signs telling her to stop. Most joggers HATE the thought of having an accident (like most people, in general). They scramble to find the nearest woods ASAP. Don't you think she would be embarrassed if it were an accident? I've seen a lot of articles and comments ... many find it funny ... and quite a few are really reaching, trying to rationalize it. If this were a man exposing himself in front of children there would be outrage. Twenty years ago people would have called her a maniac with a mental illness, today we're laughing at it. We've become a very gross society with wrong ideas about a lot of things. People used to have common sense and judgement about right vs wrong, what's normal vs what isn't, what's acceptable vs what is shameful. Why do we tolerate and laugh at things that are disgusting? People are so vile, but they like it that way! Even the homeowner who caught her was laughing about it. If this was our yard, she would never have dared to return. She's a sick pig with a poop fetish, bordering on a sex crime/public lewdness.

Her outfit, hair, shoes are very clearly shown ... someone knows who she is. TURN HER IN!!!

Guess we can add one more to that number.

At Mesa Verde NP, the campground showers have text AND drawings telling people not to poop in the shower and to sit on the toilet to poop! There were enough people who did not know what these objects are for that they had to put signs up.

I guess When In Rome is also an unfamiliar concept to them.

We don't defecate in the open. There is no reason or excuse for it. We are a civilized society that realized a very long time ago that proper hygiene and waste disposal is essential for disease prevention. We know better. It doesn't mean we behave better. But we know better.
