Big difference between despise and the plain vanilla truth and obviously something many of you just are incapable of grasping.
Very big reason the city is in the terrible state it is today financially and employment wise among other things.
It is no wonder so many businesses have come and gone through the years and continues to this day with the something for nothing ignorance that many locals reflect along with overzealous conservative motives.
Much too ingrained into most local personas and sadly will never change.

That still doesn't answer the question. If this place makes you that unhappy why do you stay? I'm sure you won't answer. I haven't lived here my entire life but I would want anywhere I lived to be the best it could but you seem to thrive on anything negative. Maybe that's just the type of person you are.

Where in any of my posts did I say I was angry or unhappy or is this just a blanket statement posters use on this forum?
I have lived here since the 60's,college grad, joined navy at 17.
Most of my business partners over the years have reflected the same comments as I am(and long before I did).
Wake up and smell the coffee folks....the city needs money to function which comes from reasonably paid workers who will in turn spend more money. Hiring cheap labor keeps people at home who cannot afford to go anywhere after bills are paid and increases the food stamp/sect 8 etc crowds we have locally.

I totally agree with you on the job situation but for someone who has lived here that long, you don't seem to like much about Columbus. All I'm saying is that this is my home now and I want what's best for it.

What's the status of the kinders furniture location? Isn't it going to be redeveloped?

I saw a bid for site work recently. I'm hoping to see work starting soon.

Yes I just saw plans yesterday to build a 2 unit center with two restaurants and room for additional center. Must be national brands or I don't see why they'd kick out the furniture place.

Right, the plans you saw were probably the same. These had site plan showing a drive thru and patio
