Word is new construction on Broadway with a very hip brand that's new - would be one of only <10 ~ of this brand in US. Not sure I see it actually happening, but we'll see.

Like Aloft or Hotel Indigo? AC Hotel by Marriott is a new concept. One is just about to open by Phipps in Atlanta. Would love to see Aloft here.

Marriott got a restraining ordering to keep them from doing it because they already leased the land from the City and they were attempting to sell the property to that developer for $50,000 when Marriott had offered to purchase it at fair market value.

So it sounds like since Bass Pro bought out Cabella's they are taking over their site plans too. I hope this gets them into the area much quicker. Any idea if they are pulling out of the location in Harris county?

I wouldn't imagine that HC location would be signed at all at this point. They are still working on the internal workings of this development and haven't even started cutting any streets. I would imagine that this developments first signs of life are atleast 5-10 years out. But, I don't have facts to support that. Just personal opinion.

I knew it would be a while but I didn't know it was that far out. I'm really looking forward to having Bass Pro somewhere nearby!

I saw today that heavy equipment has been moved to the vacant land next to chick fila in lakeside village. I know they wanted a hotel over there. Anyone know what going in. I also see that the old swift mill land in midland has a Wc Bradley for sale sign going up. I guess the Costco rumors were not true for that area.
