I only use computer for personal use, typing correspondence and sending resumes. I used for microsoft programs for at least 10 years, just bought a mac a few months ago. I have had issue after issue. whenever I try to send a resume online, the other party can't open it. I can't print Avery labels the way that I used to,etc Are these problems common using the Imac?
having an apple/mac...........is like being in jail.............some people feel secure with them though , but i like the freedom of being able to do or go whereever i feel.

As a long time Mac user I've found that the OS and/or the extensions of the OS don't always transfer from Windows to Mac since they are different OS language. The problem isn't the Mac it's the Windows users that receive the document.
To solve this you can partition your hard drive and load Windows on half with Mac on the other half to have the best of both worlds. Mac's can do this Windows can't.

I had a good laugh at the title, I'm guessing you meant use not sue but either way I agree they are harder to use and sue. Of course I hadn't been using Windows for so long a Mac may be easier, who knows.

Obviously not. You had to provide 7 links to help the OP try to become compatible with the rest of the world, and you suggested doing it by running Windows. That seems much closer to poppycock nonsense to me (IMO).

I'm calling poppycock nonsense on your poppycock nonsense TW. I tried to use a Mac once. I could not find anything. Didn't know how to do anything. And I couldn't even get to a command prompt to do things the easier way. I was lost, and gave up in frustration, and took a fail on that paper that required me to use a Mac.
So, to some people the idea that Macs are easy to use is poppycock nonsense.
Fortunately, this is a competitive environment, and people can pick and choose what they are comfortable using and what is easier for them. Not everyone works, thinks, or perceives things the same way,and so different interfaces, functions, and approaches work better or worse for different people.
So don't attack people for not preferring your preference. It's okay that people are different. It really is.
