Quickly looking at several pages of this thread, it appears Cambium is the one that made most posts. If the thread isn't developing much it has to do with Cambium reducing the frequency of his posts. People have lives to live and things to do, plus no one is being paid to post in this or in any other thread.

Pine needs everywhere. My oak trees are dropping leaves, wish they would all fall instead of hanging around all winter.

Lol, I just noticed the other day in Real Estate, Cambium has over 82000 posts, that has to be a City Data record, I mean my God. I thought JayConn would been the most by a mile but he only has a measly 34000.

Here on the coast I'd say were just past peak but still plenty of leaves on trees.

Our Maples are pretty much done dropping, need to spend a few hours clear the back, then the rest can be done with the lawn tractor. Oaks up front hang on till late December, although right now, the front is a mess. We had a house in Danbury, Fall colors were stunning, here in Bethel, leaves turn and drop in what seems like a day, never get to enjoy the beauty of colors.....except what is on the lawn

Just came across this. Wanna check it out. Report your foliage.

Sometimes its tough because all trees dont peak at same time

Amazing NYC still has some city heat island effect. I highly doubt if it wasn't a large city it wouldn't be at the same time like Long Island, New Jersey, Westchester County and the coast of Connecticut.

I noticed in many early springs that trees were still bare in the suburbs and on the coast of Connecticut while in Manhattan many were blooming, especially the ones that sprout a white flower.

"Where have all the flowers gone?" The ground is deep with fallen leaves around here and a few trees have brown leaves left on. Flowers are dead. Central CT.

I read once, that when/where the leaves change also has something to do with soils and tree type. From what I've seen once of the reasons that NYC/Long Island/southern CT have leaves that change later (and some would argue less colorful) is that there are fewer maples here than points north (northern CT, Upstate NY/New England). Also oaks and other types seem to hold there leaves longer than maples. I just passed through Waterbury and the trees are either bare or full color. While in New Haven, there is still many trees with leaves (and still some green even) or the colors are just coming out. Here is live pic of the campus of Southern CT State U, it has good shots of the November color:

Lack of trees, lack of air circulation due to buildings will do that.
