Think it'll be a better year since the temps have been cooler than the last couple years? I know tomorrow's supposed to be a really warm day but supposed to maintain 70s and lows in the 50s.

I take it you don't like Fall? Or look forward to what's coming after it?

We have more warm or normal temps coming next 10 days so that will slow down the process. But as long as we don't get any tropical storms to hit I think will be a good year for colors. We've had a ton of rain this yr.

Saw a few in New Canaan and Wilton but less than 1% still.

Expecting better colors this year, despite the short warming happening in the near future the telltale tree in my backyard along the wood line has started to shift to its signature "fall yellow". It's usually the first to change and signals to me the season.

Pool is closed and I've got the fall bug, no not a pumpkin all the things person but the season in whole.

I know you didn't ask me but I'm going to answer anyway lol

I'd love fall if it weren't for winter! But it's a frustrating season for me, afternoons are gorgeous but mornings are difficult to bike in (chilly then it warms up quickly, hard to dress for)

Definitely this. I love fall too but it is too fleeting. You blink and it is gone. Winter is here and we are dealing with the snow and ice. Don’t get me wrong I love the cold too but as you age, it seems that the weeks go by faster and faster. Kind of sad. Jay

Burning bush is red and some of the maples have that orangey gold around the edges in the Farmington area. It seems to be starting early and I think it will be a good year. We haven't had droughts like we've had other years that result in brown foliage.

Was just out and about for the past week all over in Litchfield county and down to Greenwich. Still almost entirely green with an occasional start of turning. I know it’s early but was hoping for a little something.
