One of the most vibrant fall seasons in a long time from what I remember. Oaks, maples, beeches really getting into it. Surprised about oaks in particular. Strangely, one of the best foliage trees has shriveled leaves. Odd.

I've noticed the last 2-4 days the colors have suddenly "exploded" along both I-95 and more so the Merritt Pkwy in Fairfield County.

I thought I was imagining it, but this year really seems great. I made a point to go out to Castle Craig, it did not disappoint.

Been meaning to upload this. This was from October 29th, 2018 (ignore the date on camera).

Testing this new dashcam out. Impressive! Sound is great too! (not heard with this video since I sped it up)
Remember to choose 1080HD for sharper image.

Milford to Merritt South. Some spots still green, some with great color. Great looking Sky too.

That time of the year guys... Do you see some trees changing? I do but very few and far between. Temps have been below normal this September so far so hopefully it continues and we get early foliage or great colors! No more heat please!

Here's a nice map showing a peak foliage forecast.
