From today. Things pretty .... (let me finish) still green everywhere. Lol.

I would bump up the color to 8% now though. About 8% of general area has color. (Obviously none in pic)

Obviously that's "down south" on the Greenwich/Rye Brook border. I wonder if any color in northern CT yet. I am visiting a friend in the adjacent mid-Hudson Valley area (i.e. Dutchess County NY) later today so hopefully they have some color.

We have some color in southern Litchfield. Kent/Sharon had moderate color earlier this week and should be near peak this weekend.

This morning... Stamford. Green. Green.

From my roof today... What are the odds it will look like that in 6 days?

Today compared to October 23, 2015. #Slim

FYI.. Lightning struck that Spruce this past summer.

Change of opinion.

This yr wont be a great yr for colors. This cold and freeze will once again ruin it. Leaves should fade, crumble or turn brown. And worse like last yr some may get stuck on the trees through the winter. For some reason the freeze does that.

Hiked up Talcott Mountain to the Heublein Tower on Saturday . Very nice view the foliage was better than expected. Kind of want to go back this upcoming weekend because I know it'll be even nicer. 84 once you hit Cheshire (going east) into Southington and Plainville is just about all color. Satisfying thus far.
