It's interesting to me that Bronin who won in large part because one the support and turnout from the West End.

The west end was also a huge backer for the yard goats planning on it to help revive downtown.

The whole thing is a horrible mess and I'm not even sure it will ever be finished.

Hartford's Corporate Council has sent an email to the Yardgoats owner saying the park will be completed for next season. He said that the developer's Bonding company is working to resume construction on the nearly completed stadium. Of course we will see if that is true. Still with all the legal actions going back and forth, I believe the developer is likely to try to get an injunction to stop further work on it until the lawsuits are resolved. I doubt they will go down without a fight. JMHO, Jay
