Another note... I wish we can go a week without worrying about precip. Saturday better day of the weekend but Sunday should be fine too.

I need a good pounding rain up here to clean the roads! They over treated them and now they are white since we didn't get much snow

We just need a little more sun. An hour a day isn't really cutting it for me.

And did say just 3 weeks worth. Lol. I'll be ready for cold and snow in May.

If I was offered a million dollar job in Arizona or the south I would tell them to lose my number. Disgusting climate in the south. Although the lack of humidity in Southwest is a plus. Just not the heat for months on end

I remember walking outside on the porch in Memphis at 10pm and it was about 105. That's insanity. I hope to never be in that situation again.

I'm hoping to do some yardwork this weekend. I have a patch of woods that we've cleared. I need to get debris and leaves burned so I can get grass seed down. When I look out my kitchen window it looks like a tornado went through. Not a good selling point!

Nice day today. I spend most of the sunny time at my desk.

With some checking, the highest ever temperature in Memphis was 108 F (42 C) on July 13, 1980. Beats the Connecticut state record of 106 F (41 C) in 1995 (Danbury)!

You would think. Not that it was normal but that's the mid South. Plus being inland, no breeze. Basically a mini version of hell. I lived there for 20+ yrs. Funny that experience really stuck with me.
