For the Jan 25-26 Storm this is what the latest models say. Just a horrible day for updates.

Now 7 days away. plenty of time (and headaches) still

Euro and Canadian stay south too much with a weak wave.
GFS keeps the 2 systems separate and we get light snow to rain
GFS Para (which is the newer version of the GFS) is the only one with hope

Jan 25-26 Storm..

GFS doesnt push the ridge north so it stays older and it brings the storm from Ohio valley and crosses south of us. Which means snowstorm. See it?

Too bad its 7 days away still.

If we can get the Euro and Canadian to trend north I think it will look good for us

Feels like spring here on the shoreline. There has been like zero cold this winter. I have bulbs sprouting here and dandelions coming up on the lawn...

Really? I'm only up in central CT and while it has been warm the last few days, other than that it does seem like it's been normal, if not close to normal here this year. Plenty of days in the 30s and overnights in the 20s. The lack of snow sucks though. And of course there was that warm spell on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.

I washed the car today. Turned outside valve back on, put hose back on. With a tshirt washed and dried it. Felt like spring.

March 40s
April 50s
May 60s.

So yeah, when its mid 40s it feels like spring

In a normal winter, I'd be rooting for cold & snow like the best of the weather nerds on this forum. But this year, no. The faster it warms up, the more quickly people will be outdoors, and maybe we can blunt the spread of this dreadful disease once and for all, to coincide with the vaccines coming later.

Euro overnight bombs us with snow. A lot of it. The trend is good now! Lets keep checking in

Hope so. At this point I'll take just one more big storm for the winter. Then I won't complain as much if we get nothing in Feb or March. lol
