Only this child is not alive. I'm also tired of hearing she had routine surgery because she didn't.

She didn't? I thought it was a throat procedure for apnea.

It was, but what she had was not "routine." It was a complex operation.

Wow, I haven't thought of this case in a while. Did they ever file a lawsuit against the hospital?

They would not want to file until after she is buried. Wrongful death would be worth more. Right now they just want to get what they are doing paid for.
