Except animals aren't evil. They are just animals. Anthropomorphism is one of the idiotic (not you) problems with our society.

Where does the excluding man from nature or natural come from? Everytime we turn around some study tried to show just how much we are like apes. Unless something changed, everything man has made originated on this planet. If apes could do what we do they would. Chimps will kill you if you look at them wrong.

Listen to these 'men' laugh at the animal's pain; deliberately don't kill it so they can hear the moaning; have the nerve to 'praise the lord' for being able to brutalize an animal.

These are your mighty hunters:

I beg to differ. Some animals (especially those with strong personalities) can be extremely evil. Ever hear of the group of "teenage" dolphins that were bullying another dolphin? Of course, some dolphins are extremely nice to others and live civilly, but some are just plain evil, and do things that will certainly leave you scratching your head.

Yep, that's evil. Never said some of these hunters weren't just plain evil. Anyone who deliberately makes a live being suffer if evil. ISIS executions showing immense suffering as their captives die (burning to death, drowning in cages, etc.) is an extremely evil form of execution. There's a difference between a swift death and one where one deliberately causes immense suffering.

That is why there is a difference between a hunter and someone that gets off on killing. Years ago, a good friend that is an avid deer hunter came up on a snowmobile/deer collision. The guy on the sled was fine , just a little shocked but the deer was still alive but wasn't going to make it. My friend had to put the deer out of it's misery and he said it brought tears to his eyes.

Exactly. You prove the point that Palmer is an evil person.

Shot a lion with an arrow, and then, because it's dark outside, leaves it to suffer while he goes back to his lodgings, no doubt having a good meal and a bourbon on the rocks while gloating about his 'kill' while Cecil tried to deal with his agony.

Palmer should have followed the lion and killed it immediately, but it was 'dark' outside; mighty hunter wouldn't put himself in harms way! Oh, no! I mean, did his feet even touch the ground? Probably not.

I wonder why they didn't stop hunting when it started to get dark. The SOB probably couldn't wait until the next day to spill blood. Then again, they went to all the trouble to haul out the bait....

So people should act like animals then?

What the hell, why not, right?

Let's not try to be better than the native fauna or anything.

I'm not saying it wasn't wrong. I'm saying the people that believe this man should be given the death penalty are crazy.
