This country was a lot closer to the Founding Father's future vision for us back in the 1950's before the hippie weirdo drugged out counter culture of the 1960's and beyond. These brilliant men are likely spinning in their graves wondering how we could go so wrong so fast.
We went from being the envy of the world and the greatest country in history, to what we are today.
Undoubtedly, with statements like yours, that is all a lost concept.

Really? You mean like our Founding Fathers who wore powdered Wigs and stockings along with makeup? The above pic begs for a "Monty Python" skit! Seems like we have had "Gender Identity" issues going back then!
brrabbit has a point. I am all for girls wrestling. I've known a couple who are very attractive (it doesn't matter whether they are or not, but they are).
The problem is when you create a protected or subsidized class that attracts people who try to cheat on or game the system. If you can choose your gender then someone will try to get on the girls' wrestling team (with a scholarship of course) who is not a girl. This isn't fair to the girls or to actual trans women.
If you think I am being unrealistic, look at other examples of money and privilege being laid out on a fishing line and see how long it took to catch some fish.
I too am all for girls wrestling, but I prefer jello over mud.
Good, that's a sign of progress. Thank goodness we no longer live in the cookie-cutter, apple pie, hypocritical America of the 1950s.
Oh - you mean all those hospitals where babies were either born with male or female genitals??? Have today's hospitals succeeded in birthing babies with 4 to 18 other combinations??? Do we now have to SUE the women who won't/cannot give birth to anything but baby girls and boys?
Methinks that the "cookie-cutter, apple pie, hypocritical America of the 1950s" was more in touch with reality, than the weirdo's of today.
Ah yes. The Founding Fathers. The same guys who envisioned that all white male landowners should have the right to vote ... AND NO ONE ELSE!
As a mixed race woman who rented for much of my adult life, I'm okay with deviating from their vision.
I fail to see what being mixed race, female, and renting your place of residence rather than owning has to do with choosing among six genders. Try again.

Certainly, I do have a point But I honestly did not think about MtF person (trans-female) joinin' all girls wrestling team (it's so ungirly for MtF, they'd rather go cheerleading or ballet). But nonetheless, my point was that while talk and form changes are cheap, I'd love to hear what real steps Univercity of CA takes to accomodate student's gender.

You apparently have difficulty following conversation. Try again.
This may sound harsh, but I would assume as a college consumer, a school that focuses on sexual identity and victim hood studies doesn’t prioritize time or resources on, you know, like.....real subjects that prepare a student for, you know, like....work.

Just accepting the fact that their are non-gender-conforming students and accomodating their needs, doesn't mean a school 'focuses' on it. Besides, gender non-conforming people are entering into the workplace as well, there are non-discrimination laws in many states and cities and many companies take those laws seriously. So, by accepting gender non-conforming students to the school, the school prepares everyone to today's reality.
But, I'd say Universities should get rid from their sport programs altogether! How professional football might help anyone to be a better engineer?
I'm not sure getting this personal is progress. I'd rather see 'Male' - 'Female' and the why, what and when is none of your damned business.
