Yes. In the year 2015 we have become very puritanical to the point of absurdity at times.

So, merely viewing such content makes that person a criminal subject to a hefty penalty amounting to a number of years in prison? Why?

The man in question is evidently on 'suicide watch'. Why?

A person on this thread looks forward to this man being murdered by other inmates while in jail. Why?

I'm sorry. I'm just trying to separate illogical emotionalism from logic here. It might be disgusting to the 'normal' person but why would viewing such content make one a criminal? Were they responsible for the actual video or were they just looking? As mentioned previously, any intelligent comments from you good folks on the forum are welcomed. I much prefer a sensible debate rather than responding to the comments of clearly over-emotional folks who appear to froth at the mouth and rush to irrational judgment whenever the word "kid" is mentioned.

Note: I am not an advocate of child porn. I've never seen any and nor have I looked for any. AS a former uni-scholar I merely search for causes and public response associated with such human behavior. Throwing the book at someone for merely 'looking' doesn't make any sense to me but it clearly does to (most) others. Why?
To answer this think of this, young children (less than say 10 years old) generally have no idea about sex and are forced/coerced into such acts with adults/other kids. When people upload/download such videos they are supporting the people who put those kids in those situations as generally I'm guessing it ain't available for free. Now they do have trading sites (some have been busted) that also support the abuse of young kids as you have to supply your vids in exchange to see vids.
That's why "I" think that if you're caught messing with those sites that promote young child porn you deserve what the law hands you.
What really makes me wonder is how/why CGI or Anime (cartoon) is treated as actual child porn. It's not real, no real people were harmed creating it, it is a depiction so how could it be illegal (it is btw)?

The term 'disgust' has many applications, el_marto.
Oh I'm sorry, that sounds like you don't think despicable people deserve to have despicable things done to them. The people who carry it out are psychopaths no doubt, but that's neither here nor there.
