Moral: If Antonio Bareras had asked she would have been off the plane without delay. Note to cops.

What kind of problem she can have with animals? Didnt she visit any Zoo? Probably she has a dislike/fear of dogs - not allergy.
If she's from Afghanistan she likely has a religious issue with dogs. If that' the case, tough luck. She's in America.

Talking My pub server the same "food" (bag of pretzels) as SWA, and dogs are legal in the pub. No "pet fee" either

One of the two passengers flying with a dog paid the "pet fee", the other was flying under the Air Carrier Access Act of 1986 (ACAA). To comply with ACAA, most airlines will give the person with the animal priority; For example AA says "If a passenger doesn't feel comfortable flying, we will re-book them on the next available flight."

Mod cut: Orphaned (quoted post has been deleted).

Is she under the care of a mental health professional for a specific mental illness? Does she have a letter from said professional "prescribing" the emotional support animal? If not, she has a pet, comforting, of course, but not an ESA.

Yes she saw a therapist and now has an emotional support dog. She broke up with her boyfriend and now she can take her new dog anywhere she wants just like blind people. She told me the dog was registered and even has a little vest For it.

That is not a qualification to have an emotional support animal. To have an emotional support dog she must have a mental or emotional disability recognized in the DSM IV. So either your sister has more problems then you know about, or her dog is a pet, not an emotional support animal.

They were in first class, on the lower level, in the "family bedroom."
Behavior like that tells you the dog isn't a real service dog, and even if a real service dog behaves badly, they do not have to be accommodated.

Ah. probably. Most of my Muslim neighbors either truly don't hate dogs or do a nice job of pretending they don't. One guy used to run and jump on something high everytime I saw him I was like really? We have a LOT of dogs here. ALOT. Wrong place to rent/buy if you hate them that much! I just rolled my eyes and ignored. At least he wasn't saying anything to me about my dog, but I felt the dramatics were meant to make me feel bad.

Yet oddly, allowed on planes. I don't get why. They have none of the other public access rights that service dogs do.
