Imagine voting yourself INTO a ghetto...
For generations after generations, many Jews have been trying to get out
It is not a ghetto nor does it look in the slightest bit like a ghetto. It will be a community of people who think and act along the same lines as others within the community. For all intensive purposes it is a socialist community where all the residents work together towards a common goal.

I'm predicting that this will wind up in court. There's no way that trying to create a exclusive town based on religion while expecting public funds isn't going to be legally challenged.
I don't think it will. Officially, they are not creating a town based on religion. Unofficially, they are doing just that. But, there is nothing illegal about a group of private individuals collectively acting like non criminal jerks to discourage (but not ban) non group members from moving there.

No Ghettos were created in the different countries because they wanted to keep the Jews separate from their Christian neighbors. From Wikipedia "Jewish ghettos in Europe existed because Jews were viewed as alien. As a result, Jews were placed under strict regulations throughout many European cities.[11] The character of ghettos has varied through times. " ref:https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ghetto
Interesting tidbit- Robert Spencer was my high school religion teacher. (Attended a private Catholic school.) He was a whack job back then, over 20 years ago.
The problem is with their unbridled reproduction, the population continues to grow and grow and people begin to move into neighboring towns as construction can't keep up. Will the town endlessly be attempting to annex parts of neighboring towns as this happens? What is the cost of this to the taxpayers? The neighboring towns will become overwhelmed and taxpayers who are not leeches on the town will leave. No one wants to live near homes occupied by 20 people or dorms like they build in Lakewood. In Lakewood, nearby towns have had to pass "no knock" ordinances to stop realtors from coming by and harassing residents to put their homes for sale. Meanwhile, several of these Orthodox residents have been arrested for fraud. The women are legally single mothers to many, many children as they get married in the temple, but are not legally married. They do not work and their "husbands" study the Torah. Their welfare benefits are astronomical. I hope the investigations continue. It's truly a shame that this happens in this day and age.
Don't forget where they "build" they don't upgrade or maintain the sewer system either.... look into the "camps" purchased by shell companies, used, abused... forget to pay taxes.... goes to tax sale and another she'll company buys it... rinse and repeat.... and most of the camps are CONDEMNED and they STILL use them!
It's disgusting.
And how can they continue to suck on the Welfare teat when they never seem to go after the fathers..... anyone else is ORDERED to pay child support or put in jail... so how are the baby daddies (remember they are married in the eyes of their god) staying out of jail? Oh wait religion....
They never seem to "own" anything. The cars are owned by a corporate entity that allows them use... and if they break down the poor tow company gets stuck with and unpaid tow bill and a POS they can't get rid off.....
They know how to WORK the system and I'd personally LOVE to see the loopholes SHUT DOWN. They suck out so much $$$ that many others are told there's a WAITING list for services.
Legally it's easy to shut them down. Politically, maybe not. The legislature simply needs to pass a law barring all government assistance to towns like this. Get a job or starve!
