^^^Obviously this is not the case, darn it. I am following this thread because I am anxious to hear when they are caught. So, what is with the address posted? There is no link to confirm, WTH(eck) happened? Fake news again?

I think it's a joke, but I don't understand it... or why it's been posted.
Right...he can't change his height...but you go somewhere where being really tall isn't that big a deal, because the place gets international tourists, and people see tall people and short people, and all kinds of people in between. (This is just my theory, among many theories, and I'm not ready to let my theory go yet. LOL )
Hey, that's cool--I love to speculate. I'm personally stuck on my vacation rental theory--especially being middle-aged woman and having a good deal of money (if for some reason they don't have an RV, I certainly wouldn't be shacking up in a tent and that really tall dude's going to have to not sleep in a car).

If she doesn't have long blonde hair anymore, I probably wouldn't notice her either. And yeah, she has some money now, but what are they planning to do? That 80k or whatever it is only going to go so far. I wonder what like the plan was. I'm guessing him robbing/killing people is the only thing I can come up with.

Darn, that's too bad. I was hoping it was real too. And for moment I thought that maybe it was at a vacation rental!
Yeah, so why was that posted and what's the punch line? It's the address of a "Mar-a-Largo" or something like that. I think some sort of resort or touristy thing over there.

Well, given that's they've been on the run for about 6 days, they literally could be anywhere in the country (or outside of it).
This whole thing reminds of the manhunt for that one Brian dude that killed his girlfriend out West last summer. A lot of people thought he was on the Appalachian Trail. Some did figure he killed himself. I wonder what it will turn out to be. Okay, I'm going with my hair-brained vacation rental idea (I don't think I'm going to win the armchair detective award on this one).

She would have had to have paid for that vacation rental somehow — and I've never seen an option on a vacation rental site to pay with cash, and you have to give them your name and contact info no matter what. Unless she is somehow using someone else's ID and had CCs in that name, idk. This seems fairly well planned, but I'm wondering what she's using for money. There doesn't seem to be any indication (or maybe I missed it) that she withdraw any large amounts of cash from her bank prior to the escape. Any ATM or CC activity on her part will be noticed immediately.

She had much more in savings, I read, than just the $80k from the house; I haven't read if she withdrew it from the bank(s) or not.
It may not last more than a few years (and I seriously doubt they're staying in pricey Airbnbs; it'll go much further in more private primitive camp sites), but maybe that's all she wants.
To quote another famous cougar, Tennessee Williams' aging faded beauty Mrs. Stone: "A few years is all I need. After that, death will be a convenience!"

Allegedly, she was frugal and was saving the money all her life.
She could have some of it in cash? She could have withdrawn a lot of it under pretense of sprucing up the house for sale/retirement without a suspicion in advance.
Perhaps, this is the first thing she did - had cash in hand.
She could have bought a ran down trailer for cash in advance too - on outskirts somewhere.
She knew that they need to hide out for a while - to let it all calm down.
She could have stashed some supplies there in advance as well.
It could be even a nicer house - she didn’t seem needing the money that bad - as her house went below the market price allegedly
Whatever it is: she had a plan. It seems to be working
I couldn't find this story elsewhere on this board, but if it needs to be moved, please advise. Thanks!
Vicki White and accused killer, Casey Cole White (no relation to Vicki), have not been seen since Friday morning when they left Lauderdale County jail for an alleged mental-health evaluation at the County Courthouse. Vicki White, who is the Assistant Director of the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office, told colleagues to prepare inmate Casey Cole White for transport to the Courthouse for a mental-health evaluation. She informed them that she alone would escort him because other no other deputies were available. It was later discovered that no such appointment existed, and neither the inmate nor Vicki White ever appeared at the Courthouse. News of the pair's failure to return to the jail became apparent at around 3:30 p.m., and efforts to reach Vicki White were unsuccessful.
Up to $10,000. has been offered by the U.S. Marshals Service for information leading to the missing corrections officer and inmate.
Next stop: the North Pole if they can get that far.

An electric wheelchair is not easy to find and also needs a lift on the back of a car to transport. I don't think they're using a wheelchair at all, but a push wheelchair would be easier to transport.

Exactly. Because even sitting down, he's still tall.
