A balmy 33F this morning. After temps in the teens, it feels like spring!
Today's run was really more of an adventure-scramble. The rivers are flooding (snow-melt plus rain) and our hike-bike paths are half under-water. I had to bushwack through woods, run through sloppy muddy fields, run along the train tracks and climb a fence at one point.
Now I'm rewarding myself with milk and home-made choc chip cookies before heading in to work.
This is a really good idea! I read somewhere one thing to kind of reward [?] yourself was to put a sticker on your calendar every day that you work out. Must be something that hearkens back to grade school, but the thought of seeing a sticker-ooh-I did GOOD kind of thing appealed to me. This is the same kind of thing, plus I don't have to explain why I need stickers to put on the calendar--gotta go buy some gold stars...what???
