While I'm no supporter of Rick Perry, I don't think college grades tell the whole story. It's not a deal-breaker for me either way.

Seems he got that degree and served as a pilot in the Air Force. And during that educational processed Perry was chosen by his peers as a leader of men. Men who themselves became leaders.

And there's already a big ol' thread about Perry's transcripts in the Texas forum...

So, are we now judging politicians by their college transcripts? Cause there's WON a lot of people would like to see.

My own college transcript wouldn't have projected the earnings and career success I've had, ether. His is, what, 30-35 years out of date? I'd hardly judge him for a C transcript. Jusging Perry by his record as governor is another issue altogether....

Plus, Perry's enough of a man to not have all of his academic records sealed and secret like our fair president's are. We don't even know what classes Obama took, much less what his grades were. If your response to that is "why does it matter", then why does Perry's "C" in Animal Husbandry matter enough to start threads and make headlines?

Perry's grades were released years ago during campaigns or around the time he became governor. This new "leak" isn't new news to Texans; it's just getting publicity because he may run for a higher office.

I don't think college transcripts tell the whole story of a candidate. They seem OK to me.

I know that I am completely different now than I was from 18-22. That said, I have no political affiliations.

There is another thread on this subject but who cares?

Liberals often result to things such as this when they have very little arguement going into an elevtion year. My question is this, did Liberals really care about Rick Perry's grades back when he was a Democrat? Please don't take this as a strong Perry supporter, i've met the man and have friends who has known the man for years. He's okay but a little arrogant.
