Happy Easter everyone!!!! I just got up and my kid is sill sleeping. There are advantages to having an older child. Hubby got up early and put the brisket in for me so I could sleep in since we were up till 1am getting stuff ready.
It's raining like crazy outside today. Lots of thunder but no tornadoes.
I can't believe how much rain we have had in north central Texas this year. It's wonderful. I hope it keeps up because after two years of drought it is very welcome.
I love to sleep in this kind of weather. Heck, I love to sleep in any kind of weather.

I wouldnt wish for rain to ruin any kid's Easter egg hunt but we could surely use more of it too. We're nowhere near caught up on our rainfall for the past year. Unfortunately, it doesnt look like your rain will make it down here.

It ended up being a nice quiet day. I goofed around with the free Majong Game that I downloaded. I don't play games well and fast enough to play with other people.
My parents are so loving their new house. The house they sold was very rural and in the middle of their 80 acres. Good internet just wasn't a available. Now, they have great internet, so I got Dad going with Netflix. My son coached him through a 'computer to TV' connection on the phone. They will be busy watching all the Masterpiece Theater shows until the end of summer.
I have no other news....unless I want to report the pound of chocolate I've eaten today.
I've had that happen to me too Camper! One time I was scanning something and it never would come out....so I scanned it over and over. The next time I turned on the printer, I got 8 copies.
I'm trying to get myself in an energetic mood since I have to work an extra shift today. Of course, sitting on my EZ chair with a cup of coffee isn't really the best way. I should take up jogging or walking....but it just isn't going to happen. I am the perfect couch potato sort of person.

I'm gonna cross my fingers that all those who need rain will get it and all those who don't, won't! We've had actual spring-like weather the last couple days....I'm always so happyt when I can shut off the A/C and open all the windows!
